Baked Camembert with Herbs and Garlic

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Le Petit Français Rustic Baguette
  • 1 Camembert cheese (9 oz.)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • fresh herbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Remove the cheese from its wrapper and place it back inside the little wooden box.
  • Make gridlike cuts in the cheese with a knife, 4 in each direction  (without cutting through the bottom rind).
  • Press a little sliver of garlic into each cut.
  • Combine the olive oil with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper in a small dish.
  • Spread the mixture on top of the cheese.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F.
  • Serve with slices of your authentic Le Petit Français 1/2 Rustic Baguette.
